With a remarkable 47+ year history of academic excellence, the Narayana Educational Group has become one of the largest and most respected educational organisations in Asia. We take immense pride in our humble beginnings.
In 1979, our founder, Dr P. Narayana, began Narayana Coaching Center with a modest enrolment of just seven students. However, his unwavering commitment to delivering quality education to underprivileged students soon resulted in exceptional growth. Today, Narayana encompasses 900+ educational institutions, including schools, junior colleges, coaching centres and professional institutes across 250+ cities in 23 Indian states.
We employ a team of 50,000+ highly experienced teachers and staff to support the journey of 6,00,000+ students annually. Additionally, we offer specialised academic programmes designed to assist and guide students in their pursuit of a career in the civil services. This reflects our commitment to equipping students with the skills and confidence needed to realise their full potential.

A Visionary who redefined Educational Excellence. Dr. Ponguru Narayana is widely regarded as one of the pioneering figures in the transformation of teaching and learning in modern India. In recent decades, educational leaders and scholars have worked to shift Indian schooling away from outdated and inaccessible academic structures. Dr. Narayana's unwavering commitment to elevating educational standards has played a pivotal role in this transition, ushering in a more dynamic, structured, age-appropriate and student-centred learning environment.Since 1979, Dr. Narayana has dedicated himself to creating an educational ecosystem where learning is accessible and knowledge attainable for all. His guiding philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student deserves a strong foundation, the right opportunities, and the necessary support to develop discipline, skill and ultimately, achieve success. The Narayana Group of Educational Institutions stands as a testament to this vision, an enduring legacy of inclusive and empowering education.Hailing from the agrarian town of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, Dr Narayana is a postgraduate gold medallist in Mathematics and holds a PhD in Statistics from S.V. University, Tirupati. His modest beginnings as a mathematics tutor reflect his deep-rooted passion for education and his unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds. It was this dedication and perseverance that laid the foundation for the establishment of Narayana Schools, Colleges and Hospitals. Today, these institutions are recognised as some of the most sought-after centres for academic and professional excellence across the nation.
